Research interests:
The group work transposable elements (TE) dynamics and evolution. We are interested in the impact of TEs in host genomes and in the maintain of TE variability in natural populations and species. Our approaches go from population epigenetics to bioinformatics.
Research organisms:
Drosophila (several species), mosquitoes, yeast, weevils, mouse and human.
