Research interests:
My lab studies the evolutionary consequences of interactions between males and females across scales, from genes, cells and tissues to the effect of abiotic and biotic environments, from individuals to how these interactions influence biodiversity. We use a variety of Drosophila species and techniques to answer these fundamental evolutionary problems.
Research organisms:
D. pseudoobscura, D. subobscura, D. montana, D. melanogaster and dabbling in other Drosophila species.
Expertise:
Experimental evolution, reproductive biology, RNAseq.
