Research interests:

We are interested in understanding adaptive change and how adaptations are maintained through time. We work on chromosomal polymorphism that is widespread in the Drosophila genus with evidence for being adaptive. We aim to better understand how inversions contribute to shape genomewide variation and the genetic basis of their adaptive character.

Research organisms:

Different species of the Drosophila genus (e.g., D. melanogaster, D. subobscura and D. guanche).
