Laboratory of growth and metabolism
CiBio, University of Trento
Paola Bellosta
Principal investigator
Research interests:
Our lab is interested in the mechanisms that regulate animal physiology and development with particular emphasis on the pathways that control growth and metabolism. We study at the molecular, cellular and organ levels how hormones, nutrients and environmental factors may shape animal development and its fate.
- Myc and Growth
- Nutrients and Fat metabolism
- Neurons and Glia in neuronal degeneration
Research organisms:
Drosophila melanogaster, Drosophila suzukii,
Experimental expertise:
biochemistry assay, analysis of seq., enzymatic activity, qPCR, ChiP, microarrays, proteomics.
