Research interests:
Understanding the genetic basis of phenotypic variation is one of the main goals of biology. We address this issue in Drosophila regarding several life-history traits (cold resistance, lifespan and developmental time), in plants (gametophytic self-incompatibility system evolution), humans (clinical important traits such as CD8 T lymphocyte numbers and resistance to pathogens) and other species.
