Research interests:
I am interested in the evolution of reproductive traits and focus on male reproductive proteins and the post-mating changes their receipt elicits in females. I particularly ask to what extent sexual conflict can explain evolution in these traits. I am interested in understanding how ecological variability affects expression of these conflict traits and male-female coevolution.
Research organisms:
Drosophila melanogaster.
Expertise:
Experimental work: fitness and mating assays, experimental evolution
