Research interests:

The main questions are the knowledge of factors involved in transposable element activation in natural populations and understanding the molecular mechanisms involved in their deregulation.

Research organisms:

Drosophila subobscura, D. buzatii, D. koepferae.

Expertise:

Basic bioinformatic tools, basic techniques of molecular biology, qRT-PCR, FISH on chromosomes and tissues, transposon display.
