We study the molecular bases of female abdominal pigmentation thermal plasticity and variation. We are interested in pigmentation thermal plasticity and pigmentation variation in response to temperature variations across space (latitude, longitude, altitude) and time (seasonal variation, global warming) in Drosophila melanogaster. In the team, we study also developmental noise (measured using wing fluctuating asymmetry). We would also be interested to study fluctuating asymmetry variation.
